Claim the offerYour dog does not chew dinner. They swallow it.
Whole pieces go down, and a lot of air goes down with them.
The swallowed air has to go somewhere, and it stretches the stomach while it waits.
Whole and undigested, minutes after it went down. That is not illness. That is speed.
Eating fast is one of the recognized risk factors for bloat, alongside chest shape and age.
Bloat (GDV) is a real emergency. It needs surgery, not a bowl. Slowing meals is one sensible habit among several, and no feeder can promise to prevent it.
One bowl. Three things it changes.
It separates
Raised ridges break one big pile into a dozen small pockets, so there is never a full mouthful sitting there waiting to be swallowed.
It slows
Your dog has to work around the walls instead of scooping. The same portion takes up to 10 times longer to finish.
It settles
The meal stretches out, so the stomach fills at a pace it can handle. Less swallowed air, less pressure, a calmer dog afterwards.
The same dinner, two very different meals.
A regular bowl
The LongLife bowl
The same dinner, ten minutes instead of one. One bowl, swapped once. That is the whole change.

This is not a meal plan and there is nothing to cancel later. You order once, and a tracking number follows as soon as it ships.
Does it prevent bloat? No, and nobody can honestly promise that. It removes one recognized risk factor, which is not the same thing.

Before you order
Will it actually slow my dog down?
For most dogs, yes, and noticeably. The ridges make scooping impossible, so your dog has to nose and lick food out of the channels. A few very determined dogs learn to tip the bowl over. If yours is one of them, the rubber ring underneath is what stops it, so set the bowl on a hard floor rather than on a rug.
Does it prevent bloat?
No, and be careful with anyone who tells you otherwise. Bloat and GDV are complex and have several risk factors, including chest shape and genetics. Fast eating is one recognized factor, so slowing meals is a sensible habit. It is not protection, and this bowl is not a medical device.
Is it safe for flat faced breeds?
Pugs, French bulldogs and other brachycephalic breeds usually manage well, because the channels are wide rather than deep. Watch the first few meals, and check with your vet first if your dog has any diagnosed breathing or swallowing problem.
Does it come in more than one size?
No, there is one size and it suits most dogs. It holds a normal full meal, so you should not need to split dinner into two servings. If you have a giant breed on a very large portion, message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.
How do I clean it?
Top rack of the dishwasher, or warm soapy water and a brush. The channels are open and rounded, so nothing gets trapped in a corner you cannot reach.
What if my dog refuses to use it?
Most dogs need two or three meals to work it out, and it helps to start with a meal they are genuinely hungry for. If yours is still hesitant after a few days, email us and we will talk you through it. Our returns policy applies as stated on the returns page.
Dinner takes ten minutes. That is the whole change.
